I started training with Scott in 2013. I had been looking for a new personal trainer after mine had left my then gym. I had worked with a few different trainers previously and, while each had helped me to progress my fitness, I decided that now was the time to really stretch my goals and find the right person to help me do that. Scott had a good reputation and some impressive results to show from his existing clients.

I met with Scott for an initial consultation and was surprised and pleased by the depth and detail involved. I already knew quite a lot about training and nutrition, but Scott took my knowledge to the next level and showed me how I could achieve better results through my training.

Over the years we have worked through a variety of programmes and tailored nutrition plans to increase strength and muscle mass and to cut fat – always having fun along the way and achieving great results by following Scott’s guidance.

My biggest achievement by far though has been reversed my osteoporosis diagnosis. I discovered I had fragile bones in my early thirties. Through a combination of treatment, weight training, increasing muscle mass and eating to fuel my body optimally, by the time I was forty, my bone density had returned to normal for my age. I cannot thank Scott enough for his contribution to this – I genuinely couldn’t have achieved this result without him.

Scott has also been a great coach and mentor to me. When you train one to one in this way and are serious about achieving your health and fitness goals it naturally becomes a very holistic process that encompasses your whole life. Scott and the act of training regularly has helped me to work through challenging times in my work and personal life. We have also worked through periods of rehabilitation when running and skiing have placed strain on my body. Scott has a vast knowledge of rehab techniques and is quick to adapt to my changing needs.

I was delighted when Scott was able to progress his dream of setting up his own gym. It’s a fantastic space with everything that you need and provides a more personal space for one to one training than working out in a large gym.
